For the fourth consecutive year the Rallie Transcaraibes visits Casa de Campo Marina and Casa de Campo Yacht Club. Over 20 sailboats enjoyed from Saturday April 11th until Monday April 13th of a perfect weather and excellent sailing conditions that only Dominican Republic can offer.

Surrounded of a very friendly environment, all participants shared with Casa de Campo Marina and Yacht Club three days of sailing competitions, fishing and cocktail parties at CCYC. They also took time to visit the complex Casa de Campo, as well as Altos de Chavon, where they learned firsthand about our history.

Gianfranco Fini, Commodore of CCYC, and Rafid Ynirio, Secretary of CCYC, received the best comments about the facilities and a special recognition to Casa de Campo Marina for being the host of this rallie in its 10th edition for the year 2009. At the same time, Mr. Fini thanked them for always choosing our Marina as a destination to this Rallie and invited them to strengthen our bonds with the support and assistance in further activities to come in Casa de Campo Marina.

“We all leave with great memories and gratifying experiences from Casa de Campo Marina”, said Stephan Legendre, main contact and leader of the Rallie Transcaraibe moments before continuing their journey to Isla Catalina, Boca Chica, Bahia Las Aguilas, among other beautiful places in Dominican Republic; and finalizing with their final destination, Cuba.
