Entries have been received from the Cayman Islands, Republic Dominica, St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, Virgin Gorda, Antigua/Barbuda, St. Lucia, Bequia/St. Vincent, Grenada, Trinidad & Tobago, Tortola. Winners for the last three years - the team from St Croix spearheaded the three Stanton brothers - will also be returning to defend their crown. Each team comprises six competitors, a coach and chaperone. Their local Rotary clubs have sponsored their attendance. The teams will be using J/24s and rotating the boats throughout the event. Competitors will be housed in the ‘Rotary Village’, 8-person tents on the grounds of host Nanny Cay Resort & Marina. “We’ve doubled the number of tents this year so that each team will have two tents with four people in each,” said Tom Gerker, one of the event organizers. © Copyright 2001/2002/2003/2004/2005 caribbeanracing.com |
