Organizers of the yearly St.Maarten-St.Martin Classic Yacht Regatta announced today that the video promotion trailer for the upcoming 2008 regatta can now be viewed 'on line'. The complete regatta video/DVD as well as the trailer has been filmed and edited by 180 Productions, a video company located in Sint Maarten. The promo trailer has been posted to www.RegattaSailing.tv, www.YouTube.com and several other web sites and is also available in the organizers site www.ClassicRegatta.com Classic music for the production has been exclusively written and composed by Peter Whiterose, a famous musician/artist from Belgium.
Several yachts have already indicated their interest to come to St.Maarten to participate in the regatta and on line registrations are coming in. Organizers hope to attract over 30 classic yachts, vintage yachts, schooners, wooden boats, spirit of tradition and other classics to the event. The classic regatta in St.Maarten-St.Martin the third week of January is the first Caribbean classic of the year, The Grenada Classic Yacht Regatta is the second one in February and Antigua Classics the last one in late April.
