Pyewacket in Antigua 2002
The Caribbean Big Boat Series has confirmed that it already has entries for the 2004 series. First to let organizers know that they would be back to do the series was Roy Disney and his new Pyewacket. Disney took top honors in all three legs of the CBBS in 2002.

Coming with Pyewacket will be Dr Hasso Plattner's, Morning Glory, these two boats are the new MaxZ 86 class boats designed by Bill Lee. They have canting keels and a sail plan bigger than an America's Cup Class boat. The MaxZ86 class will be racing on the global circuit, which inlcudes the 2004 CBBS, and class organizers are hoping that these boats will be the world’s new record breakers.

Tom Hill will be back but this time with his new 75 foot Reichel/Pugh design. As Cary Byerley explained, "Titan XII. just missed being ready for the 2003 CBBS series so we are delighted to see that the boat and crew are all tuned up and ready for the 2004 series." Formula 1 Sailing will again be entering three of their boats, one of which will be their new Farr 65, Hugo Boss. Unlike her sister ships, this black machine will have a fractional carbon rig with an extra 7 ft height, and will carry an oversized carbon spinnaker pole and asymmetric kites. Also registered is one of the CBBS favorites Clayton Deutsch's mighty Swan 68, Chippewa.

The Caribbean Big Boat Series sponsored by Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Princess Yacht Club Marina and FKG Rigging. The CBBS consists of the St.Maarten Heineken Regatta, the BVI Spring Regatta and Antigua Sailing Week and is for boats of 60 foot and over.
